SYNOPSIS

Phase 1 Bid Packages Include:

BHS-02A Abatement
BHS-06A -Phase 1 General Trades
(Restricted to Minority Business Enterprise Firms)
BHS-16A Electrical Services and Switch Gear (Restricted to Minority Business Enterprise Firms)

Firms bidding on bid packages restricted to MBE Firms must be pre-qualified as an MBE firm by any of the following agencies prior to the bid opening date: State of CT DAS, State of CT DOT, City of New Haven, City of Bridgeport, City of Hartford or CT Minority Supplier Development Council

A Pre-Bid walk though is scheduled for May 7, 2008 at 2:30 PM. All prospective bidders are requested to meet at the main office of the school.

The bidder must have prior experience consisting of no less than three similar projects with an equal or greater value within the last five years. State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (DAS) Certification is required for this Project for bid packages in excess of $500,000.

Sets of plans and specifications may be obtained on or after April 28, 2008 from Crest Graphics, (860) 677-8817, 220 Farmington Avenue, Farmington, CT at the cost of printing.

All pre-bid inquiries must be submitted to the Construction Manager by May 12, 2008.
