View pictures of sample vehicles (when available). Inspection is the day of the auction from 8:30 am – 10:00 am. A complete listing of vehicles being auctioned is available the day of the auction. View pictures of sample items (when available). Inspection is the day before the auction from 11:30 am – 3:30 pm and morning of auction from 8:30 am. A complete listing of items being auctioned is available the day of the auction.

How Does The State Program Work? How Does The Federal Program Work?

The State Property Distribution Program is the legally authorized agent for the disposition of all state surplus property and material. This program:
Transfers state surplus property to state agencies
Assists municipalities with the option of aquiring used items of good quality
Holds public personal property and vehicle auctions
Donates surplus property to approved nonprofit organizations
Connecticut State Agency for Surplus Property (SASP) procures federal surplus property from around the world and redistributes it to Connecticut state agencies, towns, municipalities, approved health, welfare and eductional nonprofit organizations. All property must be:
Used for official purposes only
Aquired "AS IS," "WHERE IS" and without warranty
Must be placed in use within 12 months
Must be kept in use for various periods
